ABOUT FUNDAY

It is happiness education programme for the primary students on Every Saturday . The board of governors,KVS has approved introduction of Funday in primary section on every Saturday in its meeting held on 6 March 2018, On the recommdation of Academic Advisory Committee held on 8 December,2017 in all Kendriya Vidyalayas.

On Funday students are engaged in different activities such as:-

Co- curricular (music, instrumental music, painting, theater etc.)

Club activities (Reading club, cub and bulbul, environment club)

Cultural activities (celebration of festivals, rangoli)

Community lunch

Inculcation of moral value

Personal hygiene

Etiquettes

The objectives of Funday are to nurture children at the young age and bring out the hidden talent in different fields. Fun activities such as playing games increase motivation in students. Continuous lectures in the classroom can create a monotonous environment for students , making it essential for teachers to engage them in games and activities that boost their energy and motivation . Having fun with others can help to strengthen our relationships and build connections.
