PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 01 was awarded with Nehru Running Shield by the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs, Government of India for the 33rd Youth Parliament Competition (2022-23)
In the 33rd Youth Parliament Competition, Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 1 Chhindwara brought unprecedented glory to the city and district by securing first position at the national level among 1250 schools across the country. Under the auspices of the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs and Honorable Shri Arjun Ram Meghwal, Union Minister of State for Justice and Law, the award distribution program was held under the chairmanship of Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs and Minister of State for Culture on 01.09.2023 at GMC Balayogi Auditorium, New Delhi. In which Kendriya Vidyalaya No.1 Chhindwara was awarded the Nehru Running Shield by the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs, Government of India. In this program, Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan’s Commissioner Madam Ms. Nidhi Pandey, Joint Commissioner Shri N.R. Murali (Academic),
Joint Commissioner Ms. Chandana Mandal ji and many senior officials of the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs and the Ministry of Education were present in this program. In this program, 55 participants of Kendriya Vidyalaya No.1 Chhindwara again performed. Their performance was appreciated by all the dignitaries present there. In the 55 members team, Konkana Haldar first, Prannya Srivastava second, Ashwini Dhurve, Rashmi Singh and Vibhuti Upadhyay third, Tanisha Dharve, Rudransh Shukla and Sara Joshi have been awarded fourth place. Kendriya Vidyalaya No.1 Chhindwara achieved first position at the national level by performing highest in various levels like school level, divisional level, and south zonal level.
For the Youth Parliament presentation, teachers Mr. Prem Kumar Patle and Mr. Atul Gupta worked tirelessly in completing the new script, dialogue-presentation-plan and student-disposition-coordination for every level. In the Youth Parliament held at school, divisional, zonal and national level, students of Chhindwara No. 1 received the ‘Nehru Running Shield’ award on the basis of best content, dialogue presentation, discipline, time limit and presentation in the mock parliamentary proceedings.
In the 34th Youth Parliament Competition (2023-24), PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 01 Chhindwara stood first at divisional level and second at zonal level for the second consecutive year.
Kendriya Vidyalaya Number-01 Chhindwara has again secured first position at the divisional level in the 34th Youth Parliament Competition. Under the guidance of the school principal, Mr. Hari Prasad Dharkar, the teachers of the Social Science Department prepared scripts and provided training to the young MPs.
After performing at the divisional level, this team of 54 students also performed excellently at the zonal level held in Chennai and secured second position. For excellent performance in this competition, Akshara Mishra was awarded first position, Siddhida Dubey and Agnish Wasnik were awarded second position, Kanishka Mishra, Bhoomi Bhalawi and Nazia Hanfi were awarded third position and Rudransh Shukla and Mansi Sharma were awarded fourth position.
In the Youth Parliament held at school, divisional and zonal level, the students of Chhindwara No. 1 got this position on the basis of best content, dialogue presentation, discipline, time limit and presentation in the mock parliamentary proceedings.
